Helen E. Stover, 89, of Northumberland passed away at Evangelical Community Hospital surrounded by four generations of beloved family on February 15, 2018.
Helen was born in Selinsgrove on April 10, 1928 the daughter of the late William and Lettie (Bowersox) Hollenbach.
She graduated Selinsgrove HS in 1946 and attended Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing stopping only to start a family. She worked at various factories and later retiring from Moore Business Forms; she re-entered the workforce as a WalMart greeter.
She was a member of the Red Hats Society, she loved to travel, square and tap dance, camp, boat, going to the beach, attend class reunions and was always smiling.
She is survived by son Charles G. and wife Gail Saxton of Northumberland, daughter Kristin and husband Galen Ramsey of Northumberland, eight grandchildren: Timothy Carter, Nadine Carter, Tiffany Saxton, Nathan and wife Miranda Saxton, Matthew and wife Amanda Saxton, Ashley Saxton, Jeffery and wife Kerri Bahner, Carmen Cromley, three great grandchildren: Gabriel Bahner, Joshua Cromley, and Kelsie Cromley, four great great grandchildren: Cailynn Cromley, Brayden Cromley, Raelynn Woosley, Sierra Woosley, and sister in law Tordis Hollenbach Dewell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Dane Saxton, brother William Hollenbach, daughter in law Evelyn Saxton, and special friend Charles Styers.
Friends and family may visit the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. on Tuesday February 20 at 11 am until the funeral service at noon. Interment will follow at the Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg, PA.
