F Grace (Klingman) Geiser

F. Grace Geiser, 99, of 170 Lenker Ave. Sunbury, PA passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Sunbury Community Hospital. She was born April 19, 1917 in Mifflinburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary M. (Reigel) Klingman, she was also reared by her step-father Henry Moll.

Grace attended Mifflinburg area schools. She married Chester C. Geiser on September 6, 1941; he passed away on January 3, 1997.

Grace was a wife, mother and home-maker in which she found her identity and fulfillment; finding enjoyment in her baking and cooking. She was a tireless and active member of her church, Zion Lutheran Church of Sunbury. She visited shut-ins and took part in all aspects of church ministry. She loved gardening and especially her favorite place – the berry patch. She enjoyed bus trips with her friends.

Grace is survived by her children: son Patrick C. Geiser and his wife Janet of Sunbury, PA and daughter Melanie G. Arcuri of Warwick, PA, four grandchildren: Matthew Geiser and his wife Jennifer of Sunbury, Brian Geiser and his wife Catherine of Ontonville, MI, Michael Arcuri and his wife Erin of Seattle, WA and Andrea Arcuri of Philadelphia, PA, six great grandchildren: Alexander, Elizabeth and Daniel Geiser and Isabella, Jason and Duncan Arcuri one half brother Ernest Moll and his wife Mary of Mifflinburg, and many nieces and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother and sisters: Marian, Alice and John Klingman, half siblings: Freida, Irene, Charles, Robert and Ralph Moll and step sisters Mary Green and Velma Moll.

Friends and family may call at the Zion Lutheran Church 15 S Fifth St. Sunbury, PA on Tuesday, September 27, from 10 to 11 am. with a funeral service at 11 am. and Pastor Richard Fangman officiating. Interment will follow at the Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA.
